Health & Sport Psychology Practitioner



Jasmine graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Honours) from the University of Malta and went on to read for a Master’s in Sport, Exercise & Performance Psychology from the University of Limerick, and a Master’s in Health Psychology from the University of St Andrew’s in the UK. Her interest in health and sport stemmed from an early age, growing up immersed in an active lifestyle. She eventually became a qualified swimming instructor, conveying swimming skills and promoting sports to both children and adults of varying abilities, helping them believe in their own abilities to face and overcome challenges whilst boosting their own confidence, physical ability and mental strength.

Jasmine is a Health & Sport Psychology Practitioner where she provides therapeutic services to a variety of individuals, including children, adolescents and adults both in the public and private sector. She mainly supports individuals experiencing anxiety, somatic issues, eating disorders and chronic pain. Her work primarily follows a holistic and bio-psychosocial approach involving techniques such as CBT, cognitive restructuring, relaxation skills and mindfulness to help and support individuals attain an overall sense of physical and mental wellbeing. At the MOVE clinic, she mainly supports individuals who are working towards achieving a healthier lifestyle, which may include becoming more physically active or attaining a more well-balanced diet. She also offers therapeutic services among elite and professional athletes who are seeking support to improve their performance. Areas such as performance anxiety, mental training for competition and injury rehabilitation are offered. Jasmine’s aim is to support individuals develop and learn effective coping strategies that foster overall physical, mental and emotional well-being to ultimately help people grow and live the best version of themselves.
